Apponequet football looks to carry momentum: 2024 Lakers schedule

Apponequet is looking to carry some momentum from 2023 into this fall after the Lakers finished last season winning three out of their last four games, including a victory over rival Old Rochester on Thanksgiving.

Brody Joly had a record-breaking performance as a junior running back as he scored a single-season school record 29 touchdowns last fall. He also set the single-season school record for rushing yards with 1,501, breaking the previous mark of 1,371 set by Nate Michael in 2010.

Apponequet opens the year with three straight road games. The Lakers’ first home game will be on Oct. 4 against Dartmouth.
