A Davenport man has been sentenced to 13 years, or 156 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base.

According to public court documents and evidence presented at sentencing, law enforcement officers identified Domonique Deshawn Parrow, 38, as a cocaine and cocaine base distributor. They said he distributed directly out of his home for at least three years.  When law enforcement served a search warrant at Parrow’s home, they discovered cocaine and cocaine base packaged for resale, a firearm and money. Parrow was responsible for distributing at least 3.2 kilograms of cocaine during the conspiracy, according to court records.

After he completes his term in prison, Parrow must serve three years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal of the Southern District of Iowa made the announcement and the Davenport Police Department investigated the case.
