    Hundreds without power in QCA after storm

    Hundreds of Quad City residents are still without power this morning after last night’s storms.

    According to MidAmerican Energy’s outage website , 415 people are still without power. Of that number, 292 people are in the Iowa Quad Cities and 123 are on the Illinois side. That breaks down to:

    • 2 in Bettendorf
    • 218 in Davenport
    • 1 in LeClaire
    • 1 in Princeton
    • 70 in Scott County
    • 1 in Cleveland
    • 11 in East Moline
    • 45 in Hampton
    • 4 in Henry County
    • 6 in Moline
    • 1 in Rapids City
    • 52 in Rock Island
    • 3 in Rock Island County

    The website says the outages started about 10:15 p.m. Lightning and strong winds are the cause of the outage. The expected time of restoration of power is between 3 – 6 p.m. today.
