A Davidson County woman died of injuries she received in a fire and explosion at her house July 5, according to WGHP/Fox 8, the newsgathering partner of the Journal. The station reported that the woman, identified by her family as June Leonard, 75, died shortly after midnight July 6 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where she had been airlifted for treatment.
