Woman Fatally Shot Outside Her Buena Vista Pike Apartment

August 27, 2024 – Homicide detectives are investigating leads in Monday night’s apparent targeted fatal shooting that claimed the life of Charmaine Goodloe, 34, outside her apartment on Buena Vista Pike.

Goodloe was sitting outside the apartment just before midnight when gunfire erupted, striking her multiple times in her legs. Officers rendered aid to Goodloe and she was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she died.

Anyone with information about Goodloe’s murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 in homicide cases.
