Armed Threat: Huntington Man Arrested After Terrifying Domestic Disturbance in East Norwich
The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Huntington man for an incident that occurred on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 7:30 pm in East Norwich. According to Detectives, officers responded to an East Norwich residence for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered that defendant Jeffery Chatelain, 45, threatened physical harm to a female victim, 21, which placed her in fear for her life. Officers located the defendant nearby and placed him under arrest without incident. He was in possession of a loaded black Ruger 9MM handgun. No injuries were reported.
