Rain showers, thunderstorms expected to continue throughout majority of week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good Morning NCWV! Starting off the work week we are getting some much needed rainfall and storms throughout the majority of today, seeing about a half inch of rainfall, amounts are expected to be higher within storms. These rain showers and storms will become widespread across the area around 9-10AM today. Highs today will be a bit below average today, only getting into the low 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations.

PARKERSBURG — Parkersburg Police pulled a man in distress from the Ohio River early Sunday morning. Officers received a report of someone struggling in the river around 1 a.m. Sunday, Parkersburg Police Capt. R.L. Koher said.
