MARIMBAS, HUGS AND HARMONY (Summer Vocal Academy photo gallery)

Pure, unadulterated joy! That's precisely what happened at the University of Michigan-Flint's 38th annual Summer Vocal Academy of Music. From July 8-19, the Maize (grades 5-7) and Blue (grades 8-12) choirs explored music theory and vocal technique, made new friends, and created music-inspired art pieces. During their final performance, the Maize Marimba Choir dazzled with the "Bluey Theme Song," and the Blue Choir rocked the audience with Journey's classic, "Don't Stop Believin'."
