OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Partly sunny skies this afternoon helped temperatures to warm back into the low 80s for most of the area, a little warmer than what we saw yesterday. Clouds bubbled up in the warmth of the afternoon, however most of the area did stay dry. A few isolated showers popped up in parts of western Iowa, but those showers should fade away by 7pm as we start to cool off. Temperatures will drop back into the 70s after sunset, and we should see temperatures in the 60s once again overnight. Just like we saw early on Sunday, some patchy fog is likely late tonight and early on Monday.

In her final season with the Panorama Panthers, Jaidyn Sellers claims her place on the Class 2A Southwest All District team for softball. Sellers was a member of the Panther softball team for five years, and was the hit leader as an 8th grader with 25 hits while playing at the varsity level for the first time. Jaidyn would transform into a leader and vital member of the Panther softball team during her five year career.
ADM Softball Starts State Tourney Today Against Fort Dodge
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team gears up for their first postseason game of the 2024 season today in Fort Dodge. The Tigers will be battling versus the host school of the Fort Dodge Dodgers this afternoon at 5:15pm. This will be the sixth meeting between these teams as the Dodgers has taken all five previously. Last year, ADM fell 8-3 to Fort Dodge in the Class 4A Quarterfinal game. Before that, the Tigers took on the Dodgers in 2021, 2020, then two games in 2012.

Individual Stats Leader for Chargers Softball
We take a look at individual leaders in the main statistics for AC/GC Chargers softball. Reagan Carney led the team in hits with 29 and RBI’s with 25. Mersadez Richter reached on error the most at four times, and Carney also led in total bases with 43. Jefferson Matters is once again applying to be a Great American Main Street Award (GAMSA), which is given to main street communities across the country that show their excellence in comprehensive preservation-based commercial district revitalization. Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says in 2019 they were a semi-finalist, but they have their sights set higher this year.
