    Waste collection services impacted this week

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Dayton residents can expect a schedule change in waste collection services this week due to a federal holiday.

    The July 4 holiday will impact waste and recycling collection for residents in Dayton, Moraine and Jefferson Township.

    LIST: Independence Day events around Dayton 2024

    In Dayton, Thursday’s normally scheduled collection will occur on Friday, July 5. In Moraine, Friday collection will move to Saturday, July 6.

    For Jefferson Township residents, Thursday collection will be on Friday, July 5. Bulk and recycling collection that’s normally on Friday will be moved to Saturday.

    Customers are reminded to have all containers positioned for collection by 6:30 a.m. on collection day. Collection times may vary due to staffing levels.
