Grab a drink, shop and explore downtown Dayton during First Friday

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — First Friday returns on July 5 in downtown Dayton.

This month’s First Friday celebrates summer in the city. Among the excitement is the openings of two new small businesses downtown: Chairapy and Mintha’s Boutique.

During First Friday, DORA is in full effect from noon to midnight. Patrons can purchase a beverage in the official DORA cup to take with them as they explore shops, live music and more.

Those interested in exploring art, dance, music and film can stop by one of the many destinations in the Oregon District and surrounding neighborhoods. Numerous restaurants and bars will offer happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers.

New releases, discounts and monthly specials are available at several shops around the city during First Friday.
