    Coroner identifies Dayton shooting victim

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A person found dead inside of a vacant home on West Helena Street has been identified.

    The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the individual as Jordan Jones, 29. The incident remains under investigation by the Dayton Police Department.

    Following a 911 call, Police responded to North Main Street around 11:45 a.m. An investigation led officers to West Helena Street where they found the individual inside of a vacant home.

    Information on a suspect has not been issued by the Dayton Police Department. Anyone with information pertinent to the incident is asked to call either 937-333-COPS or Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP.
