    AES outage: 10,000 people still without power near Dayton after Sunday storm

    Over 10,000 people are still without power Monday morning after a strong storm swept through the Dayton area on Sunday, damaging power lines, according to an AES outage map .

    Around 31,000 people were without power directly after the storm, according to an AES post on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.

    Monday morning's remaining outages are clustered around Dayton, its suburbs, and Wilmington and Washington Courthouse.

    The storm also knocked out power for around 11,000 AEP customers in central and southern Ohio Sunday, according to an AEP Ohio post on X .

    Over 3,000 AEP customers were still without power Monday morning, according to an AEP outage map .
