This is very unfortunate. I feel for the families. I will say, living here in Florida, just minutes from A1A at Flagler Beach area, we see bike accidents all of the time. Sadly, it's not just 4 wheel vehicles causing accidents. 😕 There are so many bikers my husband and I have witnessed that just don't follow the road rules. We've seen them pull out in front of us, cause us to slam on the brakes, they do rolling stops, they weave in and out of traffic like bats outta hell, talk on cell phones, drive all erratic and even drunk. It's just getting worse and worse all of the time. I respect the bikes and am always aware of them and watching their every move because I sure don't want to hit one. Defensive driving is needed for sure. This time of year, Bike Week, we just try to stay home and get out as little as possible. I wish all the bikers a very safe and enjoyable Bike Week. Everyone (drivers of any vehicle) should keep their heads on a swivel. 😊 ✌🏼 🏍
