Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias will perform Thursday at Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, as part of his nationwide “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy Tour.”
Iglesias is one of the most-watched comedians on YouTube, generating more than 1.1 billion views in addition to his more than 25 million fans on social media. He also was included in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” list, along with giants such as Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock.
On TV, Iglesias is the star and executive producer of the Netflix original comedy series, “Mr. Iglesias,” in which he portrays public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. His feature film credits include co-starring roles in “Magic Mike,” “Magic Mike XXL” and “A Haunted House 2.”
Ticket prices for the 8 p.m. show start at $49.50, not including fees at Ticketmaster.com or the Peabody box office at 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Trains roll into DeLand
It’s time again for the 85th Florida Model Train Show and Sale , which unfolds Saturday at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 E. New York Ave., DeLand.
It features more than 250 vendor tables showcasing the wares of dealers nationwide, a selection touted as the largest combination show in Florida. The inventory represents an array of famous brands, including Lionel, American Flyer, LGB, Marklin and Ives Trains, among others.
Rail buffs also can find antique memorabilia ranging from dining-car china, lanterns, switch locks and keys, timetables and other artifacts once used by the railroads.
The show also offers several large working layouts with displays representing the First Coast Model Railroad Society layout, the Orlando N-Track and other groups.
Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Volusia County Fairgrounds. Admission is $8 at the door, free for ages 11 and younger. Tickets are available in advance at Eventbrite.com

More Bandshell concerts on tap
One of the most popular summer events at the World’s Most Famous Beach rolls on, with new editions of the Friday night “Sounds of Summer” series and the Saturday Night “Star Spangled Summer Concert Series” this weekend at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
Both shows are free admission, with VIP reserved seating tickets also available for those interested.
On Friday, the “Sounds of Summer” features the twin bill of China Grove & Midnight Joker, tributes to the Doobie Brothers and the Steve Miller Band, respectively. Show time: 7:15 p.m.
On Saturday, the “Star Spangled Summer” show will present the “Hotter Than July,” an homage to both the Commodores and Stevie Wonder. That show also starts at 7:15 p.m., followed by fireworks over the beach at 9:45 p.m.
VIP reserved seat tickets for either series, at $15, are available online at DaytonaBandshell.com and ticketmaster.com . Remember, general admission seating is free.
Family Fun Day in New Smyrna Beach
Arts, crafts, games and family activities for all ages will power an Open House Family Fun Day on Saturday at the Live Oak Cultural Center in New Smyrna Beach.
There will be bingo games hosted by the Council on Aging from 9-11 a.m., along with additional events that include book-based crafting with the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library and “Make and Take” art projects under the supervision of representatives from the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
Hours are 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Cultural Center, 1050 Live Oak St. in New Smyrna Beach. It’s free admission. Visit cityofnsb.com for details.
In Flagler, Gamble Jam welcomes pickers
Singers, guitarists, fiddlers and banjo-pickers are welcome to add their musical touches to the twice-monthly Gamble Jam at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach.
The jam is a family-friendly event that occurs every second and fourth Saturday of the month to honor the memory of James Gamble Rogers IV, the famous Florida folk musician who lost his life in 1991 while trying to rescue a swimmer in rough surf in the Atlantic Ocean.
Hours are 2-4 p.m. Saturday. The jam is included in the park’s admission of $5 per vehicle.
