UCF Knights football: Kickoff time, TV info finalized for 1st trip to Iowa State

ORLANDO — UCF will get a third straight prime-time kickoff slot away from home.

The Big 12 Conference announced the Knights ' Oct. 19 game against Iowa State will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on either FOX or FS1, depending on this weekend's outcomes across the league. UCF hosts Cincinnati , and Iowa State visits West Virginia on Saturday.

UCF and Iowa State have never faced each other in football. The Knights are 3-2 overall with a 1-1 mark in Big 12 play, rallying from 21 points down to topple TCU and suffering a 48-21 loss in the Bounce House to Colorado .

Iowa State (5-0, 2-0) is the highest-ranked Big 12 team in the most recent US LBM Coaches Poll , checking in at No. 13. The Cyclones are one of two Big 12 teams with an unbeaten overall record — along with BYU — and one of five yet to suffer a defeat in conference play, along with BYU, Texas Tech, Colorado and West Virginia.
