If you get a purple Whopper at Burger King this weekend, don't freak out. Well, maybe in a good way.

Burger King just launched some mysterious and ooky food in time for Halloween with their new "Addams Family" offerings that include Thing's onion rings, Morticia's shake, Gomez' churros and Wednesday's Whopper with a purple bun, based on cartoonist Charles Addams' beloved and macabre creations.

“Halloween holds a special place in our brand’s history, and we know our guests look forward to seeing what delicious and kooky creations we come up with each year,” said Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King North America. “We know The Addams Familyalso has an affinity for the scarier things in life, so we’re excited to offer fans not one, but four new takes on their favorite BK products this Halloween season with these Addams Family-inspired creations.”

What are the Addams Family items at Burger King?

    The creepy limited-time delights include:

    • Wednesday’s Whopper : It's the iconic flame-grilled Whopper with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and onions but with a purple bun (from purple potatoes) topped with black sesame seeds.
    • Thing’s Rings : Onion rings served in a Thing-themed package to honor the family's one-handed helper.
    • Gomez’s Churro Fries : Churro fries coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with chocolate dipping sauce. Not sure how they missed out on "You Spoke French Fries," here.
    • Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake : A concoction with character, this creamy soft serve shake is mixed with chocolate cake batter fudge and topped with black and purple cookie pieces for style.
