MOSCOW, Idaho — New court documents have been filed that break down the defense's argument as to why it thinks Bryan Kohberger's trial should be moved out of Latah County. The defense argues Kohberger's "protection to a fair and impartial jury is infringed without a change of venue," they further argue that a fair and impartial jury cannot be found in Latah County.

Hermiston man jailed for attempted murder
HERMISTON – A Hermiston transient is in Umatilla County Jail after he allegedly stabbed another transient several times Thursday, July 18. Shane Springer, 35, is charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, attempted unlawful use of a weapon, and a parole violation. All of the charges against him are felonies.
