Woman critically hurt in Reston crash

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Police said medics took a woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Tuesday evening after a two-car crash in the Reston area.

The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) posted about the incident on the X platform at 7:27 p.m.

FCPD said the collision took place in the 1500 block of Summerchase Ct. which was closed because of the wreck. The police department asked people to use an alternate route while officers were there investigating.

This article is very misleading. She thought she parked her car, stepped out and tried to stop her moving vehicle which cause her to be run over by her own car into another parked vehicle.

More and more casualties on our roads now because drivers are out of control, police presence which is now non-existant would help deter these crazy drivers.
