    Budweiser Clydesdales coming to National Harbor

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Budweiser Clydesdales are on a cross-country tour, and the iconic horses have National Harbor among the stops they’ll make in Maryland.

    The Clydesdales are marking Budweiser’s 14-year partnership with Folds of Honor . The nonprofit group provides families of fallen or disabled service members and the families of first respo nders with scholarships.

    The horses will be part of a parade along Solomons Island in Calvert County on Aug. 21. The parade begins at 3 p.m. at Calvert Marine Museum, 14200 Solomons Island Rd. S., Solomons, Md.

    The following day, on Aug. 22, the Clydesdales bring the show into the DMV at a parade at National Harbor in Prince George’s County. The event begins at 4 p.m. The route starts at 29 Waterfront St. and makes its way throught the waterfront district. The horses will make a 30-minute stop at 177 Fleet St. where people will have a chance to take pictures and visit with the Budweiser Clydesdales.

    Check presentations fo Folds of Honor will take place at both events.

    The Budweiser Clydesdales paid a visit to Washington, D.C. in April when they were part of the Washington Nationals Opening Day .
