Fairfax County Animal Shelter waiving adoption fees for all animals

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Fairfax County Animal Shelter will be waiving its animal adoption fees next week for its 10th annual Clear the Shelters campaign.

From Aug. 23 to Aug. 25, potential adopters can visit the county’s animal shelter, located at 4500 West Ox Rd. and 8875 Lorton Rd. and adopt any animal without having to pay the usual adoption fee.

“Join us for the 10th annual Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption campaign aimed at finding loving homes for pets in need,” the shelter stated in a post on Facebook.
