There will be flights to Tampa and St. Petersburg and Clearwater twice a week and flights to Orlando and Sanford will be available three times a week.

Extra flights will be added during the holidays and Myrtle Beach Service begins Nov. 11.

“It’s a good economic impact to have more commercial flights,” Neil Duran with HGR, said. “We really would like the folks that live along the I-70 corridor and I-270 to think of HGR as an option.”

This year, more than 100,000 passengers have flown in and out of Hagerstown.
