Mr Wash offering free car wash to celebrate new school year

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The car wash chain Mr Wash said it was offering people a clean start to the 2024-2025 school year in the form of free — wait for it — car washes.

The company posted on Instagram and Facebook about the offer, which is open to all customers on Aug. 15.

The Instagram post said, in part: “Mr Wash is celebrating the new school year by offering a FREE car wash to all customers on Thursday, August 15th. Start the school year with a sparkling clean vehicle!”

One Facebook user asked if anyone could take advantage of it, to which Mr Wash replied: “Yes! You just show up on Thursday 8/15, and you’ll receive a free car wash!”

The business has 11 locations, most of which are in Virginia and Maryland. (There is one in Delaware.)
