    Pennsylvania man arrested for attempted murder in Frederick County road rage incident, police say

    FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Maryland State Police (MSP) Troopers arrested a Pennsylvania man for his suspected involvement in a road rage incident in Frederick County Wednesday morning.

    Shortly after 7:30 a.m., MSP responded to the area of SB US15 at Tippin Drive for a road rage incident involving shots fired. At the scene, troopers saw shots through the passenger side of the victim’s car.

    The victim was not hurt, despite the gunshots.

    New safety measures considered for Montgomery County public high schools

    Police identified 37-year-old Bryand Paradine as the suspect after putting a lookout for a maroon Chevrolet SUV with Pennsylvania tags. His SUV was found parked outside of a business in Thurmont, Md.

    Investigators found Paradine inside and executed a search warrant on his car, finding a loaded 9mm handgun and spent shell castings.

    He was charged with attempted murder, use of a gun in commission of a felony and related offenses.
