Around the World Cultural Food Festival returns to Old Town Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. ( DC News Now ) — If you are looking to take your taste buds on a trip, the 8th Around the World Cultural Food Festival is returning to Alexandria with an array of flavors.

On Aug. 24, the free festival will take over the Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Organizers said that this year, the Around the World Cultural Food Festival will include nearly 50 countries, and attendees can explore over 150 traditional food items. The festival will also feature artisans, crafters, folk dances and traditional performances from 12 countries.

The festival is not only a chance to explore different spices but also to learn about different cultures. It is admission-free.
