    Police make arrest in deadly Gold’s Gym shooting in Reston

    RESTON, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Office of the Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney said a man has been charged with murder in connection to a deadly shooting that happened at a Gold’s Gym in Reston Tuesday afternoon.

    The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) announced that officers located the shooting suspect, later identified as Steve Taehee Ha, on Tuesday evening and took him into custody.

    The shooting happened at a Gold’s Gym, located in the 13800 block of Sunrise Valley Road.

    In a news conference, FCPD Capt. Kent Bailey said a man was working out in the gym when the suspect, who was also working out there, approached the man in a “targeted stance.”

    The suspect shot the man in his upper body.

    The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The victim’s name has not been released at this time.

    The Office of the Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney told DC News Now that authorities charged Ha with Second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

    He was arraigned in court on Wednesday morning.
