Police: DC man charged with murdering girlfriend in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince George’s County Police Department said a D.C. man has been arrested in connection to the murder of his girlfriend.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with severe injuries on June 29 and died on July 2.

On Aug. 16, the Chief Medical Examiner said the victim’s cause of death was due to multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Police arrested the suspect on Wednesday morning. He was identified as 65-year-old William Snipes of Washington, D.C.

He is charged with first and second degree murder of 60-year-old Sharon Moore of Capitol Heights.
