    Metro extending service for Commanders game

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Officials announced that Metro will be staying open a bit later for the Commanders game on Sunday.

    In a post on the X platform , Commanders Field said that a Blue and Silver train will run after midnight, which is when trains usually stop running.

    The trains will depart from Morgan Boulevard and Downtown Largo.

    Commanders officials said that the final Blue Line trains will leave Morgan Boulevard at 12:28 a.m. and Downtown Largo at 12:25 a.m.

    The final Silver Line trains will leave Morgan Boulevard at 12:35 a.m. and Downtown Largo at 12:32 a.m.

    So a team gets extended Metro service and the stadium crumbling and rips off fans, and no other time for commuters and extending service to other areas in the dmv is very smart planning.
