Officials said Jackson-Reed High School is D.C.’s largest and most diverse high school.

“We want our students and parents to know we are excited for their return and we are really looking to build on the momentum we established last year,” said Principal Sah Brown.

Safety is a top priority for the school. School staff also held signs around the school reminding parents, staff and students to slow down and drive no faster than 15 miles an hour near the school.
