    Man hospitalized after hit-and-run near I-95 in Prince George’s County

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Maryland State Police (MSP) are working to find the driver who allegedly hit a person riding an electric scooter near Interstate 95 in Prince George’s County early Tuesday morning.

    State police told DC News Now that around 3 a.m., troopers were called to a hit-and-run crash on Sandy Spring Road near I-95.

    Details are limited; however, MSP said their preliminary investigation indicated that a 36-year-old man from Laurel, was riding his scooter when a Toyota sedan struck him.

    The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. As of Tuesday morning, his condition is unknown.

    The crash remains under investigation.
