Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs to host 3rd annual DC Afro Latino Fest

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs is set to host the 3rd annual D.C. Afro Latino Fest on Aug. 31.

The free event will be held from noon until 9 p.m. at Franklin Park in Northwest.

The fest’s mission is to highlight the diversity of the Latino community in the District through cultural performances, community engagement and live music.

Attendees can enjoy music from Afro-Dominicano, Xiomara Fortuna, Brenda Navarrete, Yasser Tejeda and more.
