    2 people die in hospital after shooting in Sterling; LCSO investigating

    LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said deputies are investigating a homicide after a double shooting left two people dead in Sterling on Wednesday.

    Just after 4:30 a.m., deputies were called to the 21000 block of Ridgetop Circle for an argument. There, LCSO said deputies found a man and a woman who had been shot.

    The pair was taken to the hospital, where they died.

    As deputies continued their investigation, a heavy law enforcement presence could be seen in the area early Wednesday morning.

    On Wednesday afternoon, the LCSO identified the two people who died as 22-year-old Mijal Conejero-Romera of Sterling, Va., and 22-year-old Diego Alexander Woollett of Arlington, Va.
