Cumberland offering money for new residents through ‘Choose Cumberland Relocation Program’

CUMBERLAND, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The City of Cumberland is offering a limited-time relocation package program of up to $20,000 for new residents who move within city limits.

The “ Choose Cumberland Relocation Program ” is designed to attract families to move within city limits.

The package includes $10,000 in relocation cash and a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $10,000 for approved renovations on an existing home or a down payment on a newly constructed home within city limits.

Those interested can apply online or click here to read about the eligibility requirements for the program.

The completed application should be emailed to Ruth Davis-Rogers at ruth.davis-rogers@cumberlandmd.gov.
