    Dump truck hits, kills pedestrian in Charles County

    CHARLES COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A dump truck hit and killed a pedestrian in Charles County Wednesday.

    The Charles County Sheriff’s Office said a man was walking near the Middletown Road and Lexington Drive intersection when a dump truck hit him.

    4 killed, 9 injured in Apalachee High School shooting; 14-year-old suspect in custody

    He died there and the driver stayed at the scene.

    The sheriff’s office said the man appeared to be around 30 years old or older.
