1 taken to hospital after MCPS school bus, motorcycle collide in Germantown

GERMANTOWN, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Police said a motorcyclist was injured in a crash involving a Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) bus in Germantown on Thursday morning.

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) said just before 8 a.m., officers responded to the Gunners Branch Road and Route 355 area for a crash involving a school bus and a motorcycle.

Details remain limited; however, police said the rider of the bike was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one on the school bus was hurt.

MCPD said the crash remains under investigation.
