    DC police arrest man accused of 20 CVS thefts

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a man accused of repeated thefts at two different D.C. CVS stores Monday.

    MPD said that 28-year-old Emmanual Hard was accused of going to the CVS locations to steal items between June 28 and July 27. Hard allegedly stole almost $8,000 of goods in total.

    Teen girls head to trial in murder of 64-year-old DC man

    Hard was charged with an attempt to commit robbery for an incident at 1400 14th St. NW on Aug. 17.

    He was charged with first-degree theft for incidents on July 20 and 21 in the 1600 block of P St. NW.

    Hard was also charged with second-degree theft in 19 other offenses in the 1400 and 1600 blocks of P St. NW.
