Oktoberfest coming to Old Town Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Get your lederhosen on and get ready for Oktoberfest at John Carlyle Square in Old Town Alexandria.

On Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., “a festive Oktoberfest celebration” is taking over and will be filling the heart of Old Town with traditional music, entertainment, beer (obviously), shopping and more.

It’ll be a foodie’s paradise with a variety of food vendors, arts and craft market to pursue and lots of delightful brews to sip on in the beer garden.

The free and pet-friendly celebration will happen rain or shine.
