    ‘Living Local DMV’ joins DCW50 afternoon lineup beginning Sept. 9

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Living Local DMV is on the move, and the team is inviting you to come along as it debuts in its new time slot.

    The hour-long, locally produced lifestyle program, which premiered on DCW50, Washington’s CW, in November 2022, will begin airing at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, shifting back four hours from its previous start time.

    You’ll be able to catch an encore presentation of each show the following day at 1 p.m. on DC News Now (WDVM).

    Get to Know the Living Local DMV Team

    Hosted by Charis Gomez, Executive Producer, Living Local DMV is an entertainment-sales hybrid show designed to provide exciting, compelling content to viewers while driving quality connections between consumers and local businesses. The program focuses on engaging, connecting, and inspiring through exploring the region and talking to people who live in the community and community leaders. The show features content from across the DMV, including celebrity interviews, events, food, culture, and fun.

    Joining Gomez on Living Local DMV are co-hosts Bridget Curran and Ellen Meny. Corinna Delgado from 94.7’s The Drive, who is the program’s entertainment and community contributor, also is part of the team.

    Some of Living Local DMV’s notable guest hosts have included national talk show host/star of Queer Eye Karamo and Bowie, Md. native/Tony Award-winning actor Miles Frost (“MJ”). The show has done live broadcasts on location. Those broadcasts include specials from the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Md. and a Loudon United FC soccer match at Segra Field in Loudon County, Va.

    Here’s the DCW50 afternoon lineup, effective Sept. 9:

    • 1 p.m. The Steve Wilkos Show
    • 2 p.m. Living Local DMV
    • 3 p.m. Karamo
    • 4 p.m. Maury
