FORT WASHINGTON, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The search is on for people accused of crashing into the Shell station on Livingston Road in Fort Washington Saturday morning and stealing an ATM.

Wood panels replaced the wall that was destroyed when the thieves backed their truck through the wall around 3 a.m., employees said.

Security cameras captured the incident, including the moment when two people picked up the ATM and took off with it.

Employees said no one in the store got hurt.

As of Saturday evening, Prince George’s County police did not comment on the incident, which was just the latest ATM theft in the county.

Police are looking for the people wanted for trying to break in to an ATM at the 7-11 on Arbor Street in Cheverly, during the early morning hours of August 13.

Someone stole another atm back in March at the 7-11 on Race Track Road in Bowie.
