    MPD: Man arrested for shooting at gas station that left 1 hurt in DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Detectives in D.C. said a man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a gas station in Southeast that left one person hurt on Sept. 4.

    The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on Wednesday around 7:43 a.m., police officers were notified that a man had arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

    Police later learned he was shot at a gas station in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave.

    MPD said the victim was in stable condition as of Monday morning.

    As detectives continued their investigation, 64-year-old Charles Brown, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
