Fairfax County firefighters rescue person who fell 15 feet down sewer

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Several Fairfax County firefighters responded to a technical rescue after a person fell down a storm sewer in Annandale on Tuesday afternoon.

In a post on X , the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department shared that crews responded to the 4100 block of Wadsworth Court.

There, firefighters discovered that a person had fallen 15 feet down a storm sewer.

Officials said crews successfully rescued the person from the sewer. However, it is unknown if the person was hurt.
