    Stafford County deputies rescue 1-month-old puppy from sewer

    STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Stafford County deputies rescued a 1-month-old pit bull from a storm drain over the weekend.

    The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said the puppy had fallen through a storm drain to the sewer on Sept. 8 at around 6:20 p.m. in the Villages of Aquia area.

    Stafford County Sheriff’s Office wants to know if you’re missing 2 golden doodles

    A deputy had to remove the manhole cover and climb down to rescue the pup.

    Thankfully, the puppy was not hurt. The deputy safely reunited it with its owners.
