New Carrollton’s Pet Fest 2024 to offer low-cost clinic and fun!

NEW CARROLLTON, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The City of New Carrollton Animal Control is hosting Pet Fest 2024 on Saturday.

The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Beckett Field, located at 8511 Legation Road, to “celebrate the furry members of our community and their families.”

Everyone is encouraged to come out with their pets. All pets must be leashed or in a pet carrier.

The SPCA and Humane Society of Prince George’s County will be at Pet Fest 2024, offering low-cost vaccines and microchips for dogs and cats between noon and 2 p.m.

Rabies and Distemper shots will be available and will cost $15. Microchipping will cost $30.

The City of Laurel Police Department will be at Pet Fest to present a K-9 demonstration at 2 p.m.
