MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) said it arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy for allegedly shooting at another teen boy after he got off of a school bus in Germantown in March.

According to MCPD, on March 13 at around 3 p.m., 16-year-old Jaiden Ochieng arrived in the 19300 block of Archdale Road in a stolen Hyundai.

Moments later, when a 15-year-old boy got off the school bus, Ochieng got out of the Hyundai and chased after him before allegedly shooting at him, according to MCPD.

    Ochieng then left the scene.

    The victim was uninjured.

Officers who arrived at the scene found two shell casings in the area of Trophy Court and Archdale Road.

Police later identified Ochieng as the suspect.
