    Man killed in Southeast DC shooting, MPD investigating

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. early Thursday morning.

    The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said shortly after 3 a.m. police officers were called to investigate a shooting in the 300 block of Parkland Place.

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. He died there.

    The Homicide Unit was called to the scene.

    The name of the victim has not been released at this time.

    here we go again, like seriously when will this foolishness stop!!! put the guns down pleeeeease it's better ways to handle conflicts like why take someone's life. what it makes you feel like you a man not really it makes you look like a coward and less of a man.
