Search continues for Mamta Kafle Bhatt; Manassas Park police execute another search warrant of couple’s home

MANASSAS PARK, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Manassas Park police said they are still searching for Mamta Kafle Bhatt.

The Manassas Park Police Department and the Prince William County Police Department’s Forensic Division executed another search warrant on the couple’s home , located at 9408 Heather Ct., on Sept. 12.

Over the last few days, Manassas Park police said they received new information which led them to obtaining and executing another search warrant of the home.

On Sept. 10, police said somebody had come forward with “information that was helpful in the case.”

Kafle Bhatt, 28, has not been seen since July 27. She was reported missing days later by her husband, 37-year-old Naresh Bhatt, who has since been arrested and charged for Prohibition Against Concealment of Dead Body, a felony.

He has appeared in court numerous times since his arrest where court documents alleged that he killed Kafle Bhatt in their home, dragged her body out and hid it.

Police have continued to search for her body in numerous places including Blooms Crossing Community, the area surrounding Manassas Christian School, Camp Carondelet and a portion of Blooms Park.
