    PHOTOS: Animal Welfare League of Arlington treats injured baby chipmunk

    ARLINGTON, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) Wildlife Resource Center helped care for a baby chipmunk after it was found with an injured eye.

    Animal Welfare League of Arlington offers back-to-school tips for pet parents

    AWLA said the “very cute” baby chipmunk arrived in its care Wednesday. Staff members were able to give it a check-up.

    The chipmunk was then sent to a wildlife rehabber to be cared for until it is old enough to go back into the wild.
