Restaurant shows off new lakeside dining experience at Rio in Montgomery County

GAITHERSBURG, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Copper Canyon Grill in Gaithersburg has a unique waterfront dining experience at Rio, making waves with a floating barge on the lake.

The new dining pier, which seats 58, expands the restaurant’s outdoor seating, offering patrons a fresh perspective on the scenic waterfront.

Louis Sandor, General Manager of Copper Canyon, expressed excitement about the new feature, calling it a “draw to the restaurant.”

The pier, along with a renovated patio, aims to create a relaxed, casual atmosphere. New menu items, such as chicken and ahi tuna tacos, compliment the enhanced outdoor setting.

This lakeside dining option is part of the growing trend in outdoor dining in Montgomery County.
