    Loudoun County firefighters investigating cause of fire at Academies of Loudoun

    LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Crews in Loudoun County responded to a fire at the Academies of Loudoun Tuesday afternoon.

    The Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (LCFR) said crews had responded to a structure fire at the academy and were able to put it out.

    All students were evacuated before crews arrived at the scene.

    One firefighter and person were injured, but it was minor.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation, and residents can expect a continued public safety presence in the area for an extended period.
