Person shot in leg outside Waldorf apartment building, search for suspects continues

CHARLES COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Charles County Crime Solvers announced that it is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest after a person was shot outside an apartment building in Waldorf.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), on Sept. 13, around 10:20 p.m., a group of people were standing outside an apartment building in the 2600 block of Hunt Place when people began shooting at them.

The suspects then fled the scene, possibly in a vehicle, according to CCSO.

The sheriff’s office said a person was hit in the leg and was taken to the hospital. She was treated and released.
